If you visit Kimberley, and need anything hardware/household, you need to visit Plumbies! It's a local treasure, like a shop that time forgot. Walk in and you're stepping back into the 1930s, it's quite an experience. Andrew serves from behind a hatch. Show or tell him what you want and he'll dissappear and re-appear with it, it's amazing, they seem to have everything in there! And it'll be very reasonably priced too. Highly recommended.

Fantastic local store, everything in a place and a place for everything. Lots of stock, fully knowledgeable about the all the products on sale and very competitive pricing, with no need to give your cash to the big stores or online. #shoplocal

I have relatives in the area and three times while visiting over countless years have asked "Plumby" to resolve problems I've had using adaptors for European appliances - and have had everything sorted within seconds. This morning two adaptors were fixed for the princely sum of £1.15. The shop also looks like it did in 1750 which makes a visit fun too!

Took my garden mower blade and shears in for sharpening. Picked up next working day, blades sharpened and shears also tightened up and adjusted - £6.50 for both, excellent value.

Great little shop, it's like stepping back in time to how hardware stores used to be . Andrew and Roy are always friendly and welcoming and you will be amazed at how much stock they have in there!

My dad left me a gold watch when he died I took it to Plumb and asked him to change the battery. He took it off me and chipped away at the gold case leaving the watched scratched and damaged in two places. He didn't tell me that he had done damage to my watch and he had nipped out the back to do it, he just put the watch back in the box to hide what he had done, then he gave it to me telling me he couldn't do it. I took the watch to a proper watch repair place and they told me not to go back to Plumb and that the damage caused by Plumb would be expensive to repair so the watch is away being repaired. I just wish he had been honest and said he couldn't do it instead of damaging my watch. Now the only thing I have left of my dad has been scratched and chipped by this silly man.

If you can't get it here it doesn't exist.
