They looked after our Holly fantastically, kept us informed about how holly settled in and ensured she received her eye treatment as prescribed. Holly left a very happy girl so we will use babbington next year for sure.

Terrible service, do not use these kennels, I had never boarded my dog before and rang to book in my dog as was travelling abroad, was told nothing verbally over the phone regarding kennel cough vaccinations, they just took her name and booked her in with a £50 deposit, on the day of my trip we took our dog to the kennels and were told she could not stay as her kennel cough vaccine was out of date, this was 2 hours before we were due to fly, my husband ended up not being able to go, they are refusing to refund my deposit. Never experienced such a shambles in my life, if they had informed me of the vaccination over the phone when booking I would not have booked as it was only a week before the date and you need 2 weeks isolation after the kennel cough vaccine, absolutely discussed.

Disgraceful. As dog-lovers (and owners) went out of our way today to drop off towels, blankets, fleeces. Was met by a girl standing outside who couldn't really give a toss! So ungrateful and definitely *won't* be taking anything else there. I'll be taking them to somewhere who's grateful! Appalling!

We haven't used the kennels, but I get my dog food, treats, and bits and bobs from the shop, which is a great place and a treasure pot. You never know what you will find. I got a dog raiser feeding bowl for £3.50 absolute bargain. I always like to pop in, have a coffee, and walk around the surroundings after shopping. Great place. I wish they received more donations for the animals as they deserve it.

Superb kennels. Staff are amazing and take such care of our dogs. Excellent communication for any issues eg medication and updates re Facebook. Full feedback on collection of dogs. Our beagles love going there and we are confident and happy to leave our furbabies knowing they are in capable and caring hands.

Lovely caring people, compassionately running the rescue centre and commercial kennels. Also, there's a big, secure, well-fenced field available for off-lead exercising/training of dogs. It has bench seats and toys for the dogs and lots of things to smell and see and do, all safely. Currently £10/hour. Also available in half-hour slots, I believe. Call the kennels to book. When first booking they, quite rightly, want to see your dog's vaccination record as the field is adjacent to both their dog rescue centre and commercial kennels. There are also toilets (including clean disabled toilets - although there are steps up to the entrance so not completely wheelchair-friendly) and a shop selling hot drinks & snacks for the owners plus lots of treats for the dogs.

We just picked up our Labrador after his first stay and he was very happy and pretty chilled considering he’d never been left for a week before!! There was loads of toys, bedding, coats etc available and the setting of the kennels is so beautiful and rural. We would happily use this kennel again. Only slight improvements we’d suggest - we got a photo on the Facebook page every other day which was lovely and reassuring, but we’d like a photo a day ideally and a bit more communication maybe a message saying how he’s been. When I phoned up to check in staff were happy to update me about what he’d been up to. We would’ve liked to be offered a tour so we could’ve seen where he was sleeping and playing etc. Also we didn’t realise you’re charged for a full day if you pick up after 10 - luckily we picked him up just before so charged a half day, but would’ve been good to have a heads up at check in Other than this all good ! Thank you!

Friendly staff, happy to help. We take our dog here for an hours running free off the lead. They have a fenced off run for dogs. It's the only time our dog gets a good run off the lead.
